About the Artist : Mindscape of bjohnarts

Based in Kochi, Kerala, my life is a balance between the precision of project coordination and the raw freedom of the open road. After years of exploration, I have returned to the studio with a singular focus: the transformative power of the creative process.

My work is highly versatile, expressed through vibrant Acrylics, fluid Watercolors, and expressive Line Art. I move easily between Portraits, Landscapes, and Abstracts, always allowing the subject to dictate the medium that will best tell its story.

My art is an evolving practice of discovery. I believe that true creativity begins by embracing chaos—allowing raw energy, spontaneous marks, and fluid washes to exist without judgment. My role as an artist is to then bring order to that chaos, refining the noise until a clear, resonant narrative emerges.

By removing the initial “commercial pressure” from my work, I have freed my spirit to experiment deeply, ensuring every piece is an act of authentic, unburdened creation.

While my work draws from the world around me, my landscapes are rarely literal. They are Mindscapes—internal vistas that emerge from the subconscious. These pieces are fueled by my long-distance road trips on my bike, where the observation of the horizon transforms into a personal, emotional territory on the canvas.

I do not let a single style define me: I let the subject dictate the medium.
Vibrant Acrylics: For bold, structured energy.
Fluid Watercolors & Gouache: Capturing light and the fleeting nature of moments.
Mixed Media & Line Art: Where intricate detail meets abstract though

I am a Certified Life Coach (Art Therapy) and Art Educator. I use my background to empower others, helping them find their own “order” within life’s “chaos” through the medium of art. My journey has included a successful debut exhibition in Kochi, and I am currently accepting commissions for original works.
